Fishing

Here in Michigan we appreciate the joys of fishing. Because Rockwell Lake is used mainly for research purposes, we ask that all anglers practice catch-and-release with barbless hooks. Fish may be kept for consumption only. And, if you would like your catch to become your dinner, the staff will clean, filet and cook your fish for your dining pleasure.

Fishing is from the banks or with the boats provided by the Lodge. No other watercraft is permitted on Rockwell Lake.

Just bring your valid Michigan Fishing License with you or, if you don’t have one, we can advise you where to purchase one in the nearby Town of Luther.
